Board of Studies

The Board of Studies Comprises,

Chairperson provided that if one Board has been constituted for more than one Department, the Chairperson will be nominated by the Dean of the Faculty concerned in consultation with the Provost.
Six teachers from the category of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor of the Department(s) out of which a minimum of two should be from the category of Professor and two should from the category of Associate Professor, in case of non-availability of these cadres the same can be appointed from the concerned allied specialty of BU.
Two experts from another University / academic institution nominated by the Provost
Preferably one expert with more than fifteen years of experience in industry/research organizations / NGOs, etc. nominated by the Provost.
The Provost at his / her discretion may invite students’ representatives, two from the undergraduate course and two from the postgraduate course for their feedback on matters related to Academics, Research or Public Health, out of which one should be a female student in each programme.
