INTERNSHIP
The APCPH Internship Program offers a two-month internship in the field of Public health every academic year. Being a recently constituted institution, the internship program has been designed with inputs from academicians and public health experts across the globe. We seek individuals who want to gain work experience in the nonprofit sector as well as exposure to international development in rural and sometimes challenging settings. Incumbents will be exposed to a wide variety of work including counseling, programming, and evaluation in areas of public health and community development.
Internships are for a minimum duration of two months and attract a nominal fee of INR 10,000 to support the administrative costs of running a community-based program. Working hours are typically from 10 am - 5 pm Monday through Friday and Saturday is a half day from 10 am - 1 pm where the candidate will have to reflect on the week’s experience in the field.
The fees do not cover flights to and from the home country, visa fees, boarding, and lodging during the internship. However, accommodation options are available like hotels and paying guest arrangements for students at reasonable prices.
