7th ASSOPICON 2021

The 7th Annual National Conference of Association of Physiologists of India (7th ASSOPICON 2021)  was hosted by the Department of Physiology Pramukhswami Medical College, Bhaikaka University, Karamsad Anand, Gujarat on 7-9 Sept 2021. More than 650 delegates across the country along with a few international delegates participated in this conference, It was conducted through the Zoom platform.

The conference was inaugurated by Dr. Pratima Murthy, Director, of the National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS). and Dr. Himanshu Pandya, Dean, of Pramukhswami Medical College.

Dr. Ashok Nair, Controller Examination, Bhaikaka University, Dr. Hasmukh Shah, Professor, Department of Physiology,  PSMC, Dr. Archana Nimbalkar, Professor, Department of Pediatrics, PSMC, Dr.GK Pal, Nodal Officer to Ministry, & Professor (Sr. Scale)& Dr. Narsingh Verma, Professor, Department of Physiology, King George's Medical University, Lucknow addressed on the theme of the conference   “Recent Trends in Physiology”.

International and national speakers gave their views and recent updates in Physiology. Approximately 145 young scientists presented their scientific works in the form of oral and poster presentations during the conference. ASSOPICON 2021 provided one of the best platforms for faculties.
