Bhaikaka University and Shree Krishna Hospital held a prayer meeting to pay tribute to the late Shri Ratan Tata, a veteran industrialist and philanthropist, who passed away at the age of 86. Heartfelt condolences were expressed by Shri Amit Patel (Hon. Secretary, Charutar Arogya Mandal), Shri Jagrut Bhatt (Member, Charutar Arogya Mandal), Dr. Abhay Dharmsi (Provost, Bhaikaka University), Dr. Jyoti Tiwari (Registrar, Bhaikaka University), Dr. Himanshu Pandya (Dean, Pramukhswami Medical College), Dr. Jitesh Desai (Medical Superintendent, Shree Krishna Hospital) and Dr. Vikram Naidu (Chief Operating Officer, Shree Krishna Hospital), faculty and staff of Bhaikaka University.
Shri Jagrut Bhatt acknowledged the longstanding support of Tata Trust in providing equipment for the establishment of the Cancer Centre in 2004. He noted that Sir Dorabji Tata Trust has been assisting Charutar Arogya Mandal for the past 20 years by offering treatment to needy patients, supporting the installation of advanced facilities at the cancer centre, and providing scholarships for deserving MBBS students. The Mandal will remain thankful for their philanthropic partnership. Shri Ratan Tata will always be remembered by the Patients & Staff of Bhaikaka University.
