Bhaikaka University celebrated its fourth foundation day on 1st October 2022. The University became functional on 1st October 2019 after receiving approval from the Government of Gujarat on 25th September 2019.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Shri Atul Patel (President, Bhaikaka University), Shri Jagrut Bhatt (Hon. Secretary, Charutar Arogya Mandal), Dr. Utpala Kharod (Provost, Bhaikaka University), Dr. Harish Desai (Registrar, Bhaikaka University), Dr. Jitesh Desai (Medical Superintendent, Shree Krishna Hospital), Dr. Himanshu Pandya (Dean, Pramukhswami Medical College), Dr. R Harihara Prakash (Principal, K M Patel Institute of Physiotherapy), Dr. Menka Shah (Principal, CAM Institute of Allied Health Sciences and Technology), Shri Shailesh Panchal (Principal, Institute of Nursing Sciences), faculties, students, trustees, and staff.
58 students of Medical Technology courses were felicitated with a degree certificate. Twenty students were honored with certification for their exemplary work in their respective fields. Seven teachers who students nominated for the best teacher were felicitated with a certificate.
On this occasion, Shri Atul Patel said that Bhaikaka University celebrated the fourth foundation day. Still, the parent organization of the university i.e Charutar Arogya Mandal has existed for the last 51 years. The university has been providing a vibrant atmosphere and nurturing the students for holistic development. He wished that the university will be placed in the top ten universities of the nation in a short span.
He added that the Mandal stands with the support and blessings of exceptionally generous donors. The girl's hostel and nursing college will be modified. The Skill lab will be established to train medical students. It would be valuable for the student to practice before actually dealing with patients. It was going to be an important component of learning today and in the future.
Dr. Kharod said that in the last four decade, the parent organization of the university have experience in health care, education, research, and public health. Universities are training grounds for citizenship, teamwork, and leadership.1,500 students pursue as many as 82 different courses, including niche specialties. Highly-experienced teachers, 275 in number, impart classroom and clinical teaching to prepare the students to become competent and compassionate healthcare professionals.
