Bhaikaka University Hosts 4th Student Innovation Fest – 2024

Bhaikaka University hosted the 4th Student Innovation Fest – 2024 in collaboration with its constituent institutions: the CAM Institute of Allied Health Sciences and Technology, the L P Patel Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology, along with Vigyan Gurjari and Vidhya Bharti. The highlight of the fest was an expert talk on "Innovation in Molecular Diagnostics: Contribution of India."

Dr. Sonal Chitroda, In-charge Principal of the CAM Institute of Allied Health Sciences and Technology and the L P Patel Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology, and Dr. Chirag Patel, University Coordinator for the Student Startup Innovation Policy, extended a warm welcome to the event’s attendees.

The keynote speaker for the session was Dr. Hiteshkumar Patel, Associate Professor at Shri A N Patel PG Institute of Science and Research, Anand, and a renowned expert in molecular diagnostics. Dr. Patel shared invaluable insights into India’s significant contributions to this rapidly advancing field. He emphasized new techniques in molecular diagnostics and their profound effects on healthcare, both domestically and globally, with a particular focus on early disease detection and treatment.

The event also included an engaging Q&A session, where students actively participated by asking questions and exploring the implications of molecular diagnostics.
