Bhaikaka University's NAARI SETU Program Empowered Women with Health, Hygiene, and Financial Literacy

The Women Development Cell of Bhaikaka University, in collaboration with the Bijal Foundation for Health and Education, organized "Naari Setu: Empowering Women through Health, Hygiene, and Financial Literacy" on January 27, 2025. The program aimed to provide holistic development for women, focusing on crucial aspects of well-being and financial independence.

During this program, menstrual hygiene kits were distributed to housekeeping workers and their daughters, coupled with essential awareness sessions on menstrual hygiene. Recognizing the importance of financial literacy, the program also included sessions designed to equip women with the knowledge and skills necessary for sound money management, savings, and investments.

The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Smt. Sumiben Patel, Head of the Bijal Foundation for Health and Education; Dr. Aarti Parnami, Head of the Civil Engineering Department at Bhailalabhai and Bhikhabhai Institute of Technology; Dr. Jyoti Tiwari, Registrar of Bhaikaka University; Dr. Pragya Nair, Chairperson of the Women Development Cell; and Dr. Dipal Bhatt, Member Secretary of the Women Development Cell.
