BU's First MBBS Class Vows Compassionate Care at Farewell
Bhaikaka University marked a historic occasion on March 22nd, celebrating the farewell of its first MBBS graduating class (2019-2025) from Pramukhswami Medical College. The 150 graduates, gathered at the Sardar Patel Memorial Auditorium, pledged to provide compassionate care to their future patients, signifying a pivotal moment for the institution.
The ceremony was graced by esteemed university officials, including Provost Dr. Abhay Dharamsi, Registrar Dr. Jyoti Tiwari, and Additional Dean Dr. Swapnil Agarwal.
The event recognized the academic excellence of several outstanding students:
- Yash Bajarani received the gold medal for exceptional performance in General Medicine, sponsored by the Shivani Bhatt Charitable Foundation.
- Zenisha Vekariya and Om Jaiswal were awarded the Late Dr. Satubhai Trivedi Award for their outstanding performance in General Surgery.
- Shimunbanu Lodhawala was honored with the Shreyansh Award for her exceptional performance in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology.
