Day 2 - 4th National Pharmacovigilance Week 2024

On the second day of the 4th National Pharmacovigilance Week 2024, the Department of Pharmacology , Pramukhswami Medical College , Bhaikaka University conducted various activities.

A total of 44 posters were judged on “Pharmacovigilance for Patient Safety: You Share, We Care.” Additionally, a panel discussion on 'Building ADR Reporting Culture for Patient Safety' featured invited panelists from the faculties of surgery, medicine, oncology, nursing, and pharmacy.

The discussion focused on the importance of reporting adverse drug reactions (ADRs), with an emphasis on cardiology, diabetes, and oncology medications as per NCC-PvPI guidelines. Esteemed guests, including intensivists and faculty members, contributed valuable suggestions to enhance ADR reporting, concluding with a commitment to strengthen the reporting culture within the institution.
