Excellent National Residency Program organized at Bhaikaka University, Karamsad by Gujarat Chapter of IRIA

Gujarat State Chapter of the Indian Radiological and Imaging Association has successfully organized Indian Radiological & Imaging Association-sponsored Resident Education Program (IREP) on the 6th and 7th of August 2022 (Saturday and Sunday) at Bhikhabhai Auditorium of Bhaikaka University of Karamsad. More than 160 delegates attended this program and 23 faculties – including 7 national faculties, delivered the lectures and conducted a radiological quiz for the residents. The delegates were not only from Gujarat; but also from other 11 states, that included Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamilnadu.

 

The inauguration function of this scientific program was graced by Dr. Utpala Kharod, Provost, Bhaikaka University, Dr. Harshadbhai Shah, Vice Chancellor, Sumandeep Vidyapith University and Past President of IRIA as well as Dr. Himanshu Pandya, Dean, Pramukhswami Medical College, Karamsad as Guests of Honour. Other dignitaries that attended the program were Dr. Hemant Patel & Dr. C. Amaranth, both Past Presidents of IRIA, Dr. Pankaj Sharma, Vice President of IRIA, and Dr. Sikandar Shaikh, Secretary of the Indian College of Radiology & Imaging (ICRI).

 

Dr. (Prof.) Deepak V. Mehta, President of the Gujarat Chapter of IRIA and Organising Chairman of this IREP Program, and Dr. Rajendra N. Solanki, Secretary of Gujarat Chapter of IRIA & Organising Secretary of this IREP Program has thanked the dignitaries, faculties, delegates, members of Radiology Department of Pramukhswami Medical College and volunteers for their contribution in making this scientific education program excellent and achieve the grand success.
