The KMPIP Alumni Association (KAA) recently celebrated the institution's 25th anniversary with a vibrant reunion at Bhikhabhai Auditorium on December 22nd. 31 alumni and 20 staff members gathered for the event, which began with a warm welcome and tokens of appreciation presented to alumni for their unwavering support.
Dr. R. Harihara Prakash, Principal of K. M. Patel Institute of Physiotherapy, led a nostalgic campus tour, allowing attendees to revisit cherished memories of their student years. The formal program commenced with a Lamp Lighting Ceremony, led by KAA Office Bearers and Dr. Prakash. He emphasized the crucial role of strong alumni-institution ties, professional development, and continuous engagement with the KMPIP community.
The program was filled with vibrant cultural performances. Dr. Vishwa Deshpande (2nd year MPT) and Tia Sharma (2nd year BPT) mesmerized the audience with their melodious voices, while captivating dance performances by several alumni added to the festive atmosphere.
The core committee convened to discuss key initiatives for the KAA, including the formation of chapter-wise alumni groups, the organization of regular KAA Talks, and enhancing online engagement through social media platforms. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all attendees for their enthusiastic participation and continued support for the KMPIP community.
