Lamp Lighting and Oath Taking Ceremony

The Institute of Nursing Sciences and Shri G H Patel School of Nursing organized the lamp lighting and Oath taking ceremony for the 9th Batch of B.Sc. Nursing and 43rd Batch of Diploma General Nursing and Midwifery on 22nd June, 2023 under the guidance of Principal Prof. Shailesh Panchal. The lamp lighting ceremony formally declares the student's entry into the nursing profession in remembrance of Florence Nightingale, who is known as the founder of modern nursing. 

Dr. Anil Sharma, Principal, Manikaka Topawala Institute of Nursing,Changa was the chief guest of the function. Mr. Sunil Joshi, In-charge Chief Nursing Officer, Shree Krishna Hospital, Karamsad. graced this occasion as a guest of honor.

The dignitaries along with the faculties lighted the Florence Nightingale lamp & transferred the light of knowledge to the students. Sixty-three (63)nursing students recited the Nightingale pledge to uphold their duties as professional nurse.
