Lamp lighting & oath-taking ceremony for its 41st batch of Diploma GNM & the 7th batch of BSc Nursing students

Shri G.H Patel School and College of Nursing, a constituent of Bhaikaka University organized the 'lamp lighting and oath-taking ceremony for its forty-one batch of diploma GNM and the seventh batch of BSc Nursing students. Sixty-Seven students took the Nightingale pledge and oath.

Dr. A.U Patel, Advisor, Knowledge Consortium of Gujarat was the chief guest of the function. Other dignitaries Mrs. Vandana Dabhi, Principal of Urmila Goswami College of Nursing, Dr. Utpala Kharod, Provost-Bhaikaka University, Dr. Harish Desai, Registrar-BU, Dr. Himanshu Pandya, Dean-PSMC, Dr.Harihara Prakash principal-KMPIP remained present during the function.

Dr.Patel advised the students to focus on health targets, and also on mastering skills related to the course.  He stated that nurses have a leading role in society and they are responsible for the maintenance of the health of society.

Dr.Kharod delivered her preceding speech and motivated the nursing students to set their goals high and strive to achieve them. She also said that nurses are the most important members of the health care team.
