Medical Technology Students Prepare for Emergency Situations Through BLS Training

 Eighty-one medical technology students from CAM Institute of Allied Health Sciences & Technology and Smt. L. P. Patel Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology, of Bhaikaka University, Karamsad, participated in Basic Life Support (BLS) training on February 24, 2025.

The session was organized by the National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of the constituent institutions of Bhaikaka University in collaboration with the Critical Care Unit of Shree Krishna Hospital. The purpose was to equip students with essential life-saving skills by providing theoretical knowledge and hands-on practice, enabling them to respond confidently to medical emergencies.

Dr. Sonal Chitroda, In-charge Principal of CAM Institute of Allied Health Sciences & Technology, commenced the program by introducing the guest speaker.

Dr. Darshan Shah, from the Critical Care Unit, delivered a comprehensive lecture on BLS techniques. An experienced team from the Critical Care Unit provided practical, hands-on training to the students.
