Orientation for the new batch of CAMIAHST & LPPIMLT

CAM Institute of Allied Health Sciences and Technology (CAMIAHST) and Smt. L.P. Patel Institute of Medical Laboratory Technology (LPPIMLT) warmly welcomed the new batch of students for B.Sc. Medical Technology, M.Sc. Medical Technology, DMLT, and PG Diploma in Cardiac Care Technology on July 23rd and 24th, 2024.

The orientation began with a Dip-prajvalan ceremony, marking the start of their journey. Dr. Sonal Chitroda (I/C Principal) set the stage with ground rules and emphasized student engagement, while Dr. Utpala Kharod (Provost, Bhaikaka University) inspired the students with a speech on education’s role in shaping future healthcare professionals.

Day one included introductions, a reflection on past achievements, an overview of mentorship, library facilities, stress management, and the integration of humanities in medical education. On day two, topics covered included time management, the roles of the Women Development Cell and Complaints Committee, and the National Service Scheme. The students actively participated in a tree plantation activity organized by the NSS unit CAMIAHST and Club Natura, followed by a campus tour.
