Orientation program for the third batch of the Fellowship in Onco and Cardiac Rehabilitation courses

K.M.Patel Institute of Physiotherapy, a constituent institution of Bhaikaka University, conducted an online orientation program on 9th and 10th August, 2023,for the third batch of the Fellowship in Onco and Cardiac Rehabilitation courses. The students from Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Gujrat enrolled in this program.

The program was Inaugurated by Dr. Utpala Kharod, Provost of Bhaikaka University. She explained about the uniqueness of the course and congratulated all the fellows.

Dr. R. Harihara Prakash gave the overall introduction and explained  the design of the fellowship program and professionalism and ethical practices in the field of physiotherapy.

Mr. Nigam from the Human Resources Department threw some light on the functioning of the university. The course coordinator of the program, Dr. Jigar Mehta and Dr. Ashish Gupta introduced the faculties.

After that, Onco surgeon Dr. Raghunandan and Cardiac Surgeon Dr. Manish Tiwari explained about the importance of rehabilitation and how this fellowship will improve knowledge and quality of treatment in patients.

Dr. Daxa Mishra described the importance of an interdisciplinary approach and practice patterns.
