Shree Krishna Hospital, the teaching hospital of Bhaikaka University organized a Free Health Camp in association with GMM Pfaudler at J. V. Patel Industrial Training Institute

The Extension Program Department and Customer Relation Department of Bhaikaka University, Karamsad organized a health camp at J. V. Patel Industrial Training Institute (JVPITI) on 29th December 2022 in association with GMM Pfaudler. The main objective of the camp was to raise awareness about health and the importance of regular health check-ups.
 
During the camp, a team of doctors from the Medicine Department, Dental Department, Eye Department, and ENT Department participated. They diagnosed and treated diseases of the ear, nose, throat, and eye and monitored the blood pressure, weight, and height of the students.
 
Information about diet, exercise, and weight control was also given at the camp. Around 280 students and 25 teaching and non–teaching staff took benefit from the camp.
 
The Department of Extension Programmes runs SPARSH in 150 villages of the Anand, Kheda, and Panchmahal Districts. The entire program is supported by Bhaikaka University. GMM Pfaudler foundation supports the program implementation across 100 villages of the Anand district. Under this program, the treatment of Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) like Hypertension, Diabetes, COPD, Cancer, etc are provided to the community at their doorstep.
 
“Health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. These kinds of health camps are very helpful for creating health-related awareness in the students.
