SKH, teaching hospital of BU increases OPD timings daily by two hours and remains open from 9 am to 5 pm without a break

Shree Krishna Hospital, the teaching hospital of Bhaikaka University has increased OPD timings daily by two hours. It will remain open from 9 am to 5 pm without a break.
Under the Aashirwad scheme, the hospital provides concessional or free treatment.
 
The district's 1000-bed largest health facility, Shree Krishna Hospital, Karamsad has a prolonged schedule of outpatient department timings (OPD) from 1st December 2022 onward. The new time will be 9 am to 5 pm from Monday to Friday and 9 am to 1.30 pm on Saturday. The OPD services will continue without a break, while emergency services are available 24x7.
 
Earlier OPDs remained open daily for six hours from 9 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 5 pm. There was a break from 1.30 pm to 3 pm.
 
With the extension of the schedule at OPD, the patients will be benefited from the consultant services. The services include General Medicine, General Surgery, ENT and Eye Department, Skin Department, Joint Replacement, Physiotherapy, Women and Child Care, Lab, and Imaging Services, Chest Medicine, Dental Department, etc.
 
Under the Aashirwad scheme, the hospital provides concessional or free treatment. There will be no consultation charges for doctors in the outpatient department. While in Indoor Patients Department (IPD) doctor and nursing charges, operation charges, anesthesia, laboratory investigations, sonography, and x-ray are free. Bed facility and diet will be provided free of cost. The CT scan and MRI will be done at a 15 percent concessional rate and a 5 to 10 percent concession in the cost of medicines and consumables connected with the treatment.
