The NSS unit and Community Medicine Department of Bhaikaka University, Karamsad spread awareness on World AIDS Day

On 1st December 2022 -World AIDS Day, the community Medicine Department and NSS unit of Bhaikaka University created awareness in the community. 100 students of the higher secondary schools of Bhadaran were sensitized about the cause of HIV and how to prevent them. They were educated through skit play by resident doctors of the Community Medicine Department (CMD).

Dr. Manish Gohel, Prof CMD educated the students about the basics of HIV biology, how the virus is spread, and how individuals can protect themselves through PowerPoint presentations, sensitive animated videos, as well as an interactive session.

On the same day, the educational program on HIV was held at the university level. The students of constituent institutions of the university participated.
