WDC of BU organized a Guest lecture on Spiritual Perspective of Pregnancy
Women Development Cell (WDC) of Bhaikaka University (BU) in Collaboration with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Pramukh Swami Medical College has organized a Guest lecture on "Spiritual Perspective of Pregnancy" A renowned writer and spiritual seeker Sushree Jyotiben Thanki provided a talk on 17th September 2022 at the academic auditorium. Nearly 35 pregnant women patients attended.
Jyotiben appealed that the pregnant woman should Practice yoga and meditation, Talk to the child in the womb, Read spiritual books, Think positively, and indulge herself in creative activities that will help the child's overall development. She quoted the famous mythological Garbh Sanskar Stories of Abhimanyu, and Shankracharyji, and stated that a child's development begins before birth, not once it is born. All life's essentials are taught to a child by and through their mother.
On this occasion Provost of Bhaikaka University Dr . Utpala Kharod, Head of Gynecology and Obstetrics Department Dr. Smurti Vaishnav, Senior Consultant, General Medicine Dr. Jyoti Mannari were present.
